Rezolute Inc. (RZLT:NASDAQ) presented promising data at ENDO 2026, with analysts eyeing big gains and a "Buy" rating as Phase 3 study results loom in the second half of 2026.

A June 17, 2026, Stockwatch article addressed Rezolute Inc.'s (RZLT:NASDAQ) four data presentations at the Annual Meeting of the Endocrine Society (ENDO). Rezolute is a late-stage, U.S.-based, ultra-rare disease company focused on treating refractory hypoglycemia caused by hyperinsulinism (HI). The company offered three poster presentations and one oral presentation by Huseyin Demirbilek, M.D., Professor, Department of Pediatric Endocrinology, Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Ankara, Turkey, and Principal Investigator of the Phase 3 sunRIZE study of ersodetug in congenital HI.

Two of the poster presentations highlighted results from analyses of the natural history and adverse health and economic outcomes of congenital HI, which the company considers "an important step toward consolidating and quantifying the disease-impact and informing future health economics and outcomes research that will facilitate the development and potential future launch of the company's therapy, Ersodetug, in this indication."

Ersodetug is a fully human monoclonal antibody that binds allosterically to the insulin receptor to decrease receptor over-activation from insulin and other related substances to improve hypoglycemia symptoms. The company believes this drug has the potential to be universally effective at treating "refractory hypoglycemia due to a congenital or any acquired form of HI, including tumor HI (insulinoma, NICTH) or hypoglycemia as a complication of a variety of bariatric or non-bariatric gastrointestinal surgeries."

The third poster presentation focused on favorable outcomes from a case series report of nine patients with refractory hypoglycemia due to malignant insulinoma and non-islet cell tumors (tumor HI). These results demonstrated that 75% of patients receiving IV dextrose/total parenteral nutrition (TPN) in the EAP achieved a complete discontinuation of IV dextrose/TP.

Brian Roberts, M.D., and Chief Medical Officer at Rezolute, said in the release: "We were pleased to have the opportunity to present at ENDO and to continue showcasing progress across our two late-stage programs in congenital and tumor HI. Deeper analyses of the sunRIZE data demonstrate the meaningful therapeutic benefit of ersodetug, further supported by the positive outcomes observed in both our EAP and recently announced interim and preliminary Phase 3 upLIFT study observations in tumor HI patients. Additionally, the natural history outcomes studies further underscore the significant clinical outcomes impacts of this disease, and the urgent need for improved treatment options."

Pharma Industry Needs Funding, Expected to Grow

In February 2026, Iqvia discussed the global pharma market projection for 2026, noting that total drug usage is expected to surpass four trillion doses daily by 2030. They wrote, "The largest drivers of medicine spending growth through the next five years will continue to be the use in developed markets of innovative therapeutics, especially in oncology, immunology, diabetes, and obesity."

Pharma sector funding fell between 2024 and 2025, according to a March 26, 2026, article for Fierce Biotech by Nick Paul Taylor.  He wrote that pharma funding had fallen from 2024 but noted that, "2025 was still the third-best year of the past decade. Similarly, overall funding was well above the pre-pandemic norm and only topped by 2020, 2021, and 2024."

BCG talked about trends biopharma companies need to be aware of in 2026 in order to stay competitive, saying, "Near term, companies need to continue to innovate to decrease the complexity and cost of these therapies, and governments can find ways to incentivize and pay for them. The longer-term challenge for companies is to factor operational and economic considerations into R&D decision making earlier, ensuring that trial designs match real-world usage, indication sequences match opportunity, and endpoints enable market access."

Analyst Predicts Upside for Company

On June 15, 2026, Douglas Tsao of H.C. Wainwright & Co. gave the company a "Buy" rating, with a price target of US$5. After attending the presentations, Tsao said: "We came away feeling more confident in Ersodetug's opportunity in CHI (congenital hyperinsulinism) after we had the chance to talk with clinicians following the company's oral presentation of the sunRIZE data at ENDO 2026 this weekend."

Tsao wrote, "We continue to think there is upside in Rezolute shares in the tumor insulinism program. Recall, Rezolute expects to read out data from its tumor hyperinsulinism Phase 3 study, which is based on a more objective continuous glucose infusion rate (GIR) endpoint, in 2H26."

Chen Lin of What is Chen Buying? What is Chen Selling? discussed his thoughts on Rezolute on June 16, 2026, saying: "Biotechs are having a nice rebound as well. RZLT shares jumped on the interim data and upgrade by Guggenheim, with a target of US$11."

Study Update Pending

According to Rezolute's investor presentation, the company expects to provide an update on its sunRIZE study and FDA submission in 2H 2026.
